Managing your own schemas in working with complex cases (half day)
Course date: Friday 5th July
Duration : 4 hours (1 pm - 5 pm)
Location: Central London
One of the common challenges that therapists face is dealing with complex cases. This can sometimes trigger personal schemas, such as self-sacrifice, approval seeking, or unrelenting standards. These schemas can make it difficult to set boundaries, stand up for your own needs, or address certain topics with clients.
This event will help you explore your own schemas and how they may affect your work with complex cases. By gaining a better understanding of your own schemas, you'll be better equipped to handle challenging moments in therapy, whether it's conflicts with clients or clients threatening to drop-out, this workshop will equip you with the tools to manage the therapeutic process more effectively.
