ACADEMY OF SCHEMA THERAPY

 

Academy of Schematherapy provides accreditation training, workshops and supervision in Schema Therapy in the UK. Our programme incorporates the expertise of leading research from the Netherlands, the US and other countries to provide comprehensive and quality training.  We aim for practitioners to come away from our training feeling competent to apply Schema Therapy skills into clinical practice.

The training comprises all of the teaching recommended for accreditation with the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST) or can be attended as stand-alone workshops. We also offer bespoke training workshops which can be delivered in the workplace tailored to the specific needs of a service and their client group.

The workshops that we offer can be attended for CPD purposes or for undertaking the formal accreditation process to become an ISST accredited Schema Therapist.

We collaborate with the Academie voor Schematherapie in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Examples of our collaboration have been workshops presented at ISST conferences. Recent examples are:

'Angry Birds, working with anger in cluster C personality disorder' (Bath, UK, 2019) and

'The use of Play to deepen the therapeutic relationship and tackle shame in cluster C' (Virtual, 2021)
